Mr. Richard Minott is the Managing Director of RCM Customs Broker Services Ltd. The company provides Customs Clearance, Import & Export Processing, Customs Consultancy and Haulage services.
RCM's vision is to enable clients to consistently benefit from the amazing two-day processing time . RCM will extend its clients' Customs Consultancy in order to facilitate this rapid two-day delivery time. Clients can
maintain this incredible turn-around time by implementing the RCM team's recommendations. Mr. Minott perceives RCM's role as delivering more than normal. This prevents clients from seeking Brokerage, Import & Export, Customs Consultancy and Haulage services elsewhere.

Team members are sponsored for courses that develop their capability to deliver exceptional customer service "The combination of experience and on-going training makes us more efficient while keeping [staff] morale high" states Mr. Minott. He keeps attuned to new industry developments by attending courses himself.   

This diligence has been rewarded by RCM being awarded membership in the recently implemented "FAST TRACK" system offered by Customs House (the regulatory organisation for Jamaican Customs Brokers). This is a very selective system, which only awards access to firms that have an error rating of 5% or less on their transactions. RCM's quality consciousness ensures that it maintains its position among the few Customs Brokers with the best quality standards in the industry.
Director and Administrative Manager, Mrs. Marcia Minott, states: "RCM has a very reliable team. Everyone

with any of the many corporate clients, small businesses or individuals comprising RCM's clientele.

The RCM team includes persons with nearly twenty years' experience. Despite this, Mr. Minott diligently audits activities via a laptop computer (even when overseas). This daily follow-up is effortless given the proprietary software and modern technology utilised by RCM. The travelling team of Customs Brokerage Clerks is linked by two-way radio to the office, thus providing communications efficiency.


Mr. Minott is currently Vice President of the Custom Brokers' Association of Jamaica with special responsibility for port operations. This role has become more crucial since 2001, Sept. 11 in terms of security arrangements.
